About
The Rooster is Reagan High School’s student-run newspaper, advised by Amber Bryant. The paper has been in circulation since the school’s opening in 2005 and has covered the news of Reagan, Pfafftown, and the Triad since then. The recipient of numerous awards over the years for writing, photography and design, The Rooster was most recently honored with the North Carolina Scholastic Media Association’s highest award–the Tar Heel–in 2023 for excellence in student media. The 2023-2024 staff looks forward to serving our readers this year.
